  21. Thanks for trying out this new and updated version of USS Destroyer Tracker
  22. v2.0 for Windows.
  23.  
  24. Unlike the older shareware version 1.0 and the registered version 1.5 which
  25. had replaced that one,. 2.0 is the best one! I have put together a much more
  26. powerful and expanded sound effect blended with other sound effects and the
  27. mute sound feature.
  28.  
  29. Version 2.0 now offers;
  30. New and improve graphics featuring: new animation introduction screens, 
  31. status message bar, which is now standard in future new releases of 
  32. Tracker Arcade Series Games. In version 2.0 I decided to change the main 
  33. enemy destroyer, which are all new, 3D and  larger. When you use the new 
  34. target sight aimer the enemy ship will now show an explode and burn effect. Also the main ship bridge is also updated with more gauges and etc....

  36. The main Navy Destroyer Ship No.35 has change into a much more 3D Destroyer,
  37. with new 3 - 5_inch  Main Guns turrets are now in 3D animation. Yes that's
  38. right, unlike in the older version 1.0 and 1.5 the main guns only had firing
  39. animation only. Now they start off in the downward mode, next move upward
  40. mode then the new firing animation will begin!
  41.  
  42. I hope you will enjoy playing this game, and if you do please mail in your
  43. REGISTERED FEE of $7.97 which includes;  3.5 diskette, packaging, handling
  44. and shipping cost. You will also get the entire full package of the 
  45. Registered version of  USS Destroyer Tracker 2.0 with completed online help

  72. If you like USS Destroyer Tracker game also check out the new BB-16_inch 
  73. Guns v1.0 game that should now be online with this game. This game is a bit 
  74. different than USS Destroyer Tracker is, but BB-16 ( Navy Big Battle Warship
  75. Main 16_inch guns) simulates you being on the deck of the ship outside
  76. facing a 3D island and more!

  78. It's not a tracker game, but it is still fun to play with and most of all 
  79. it is easy to play!

  98. About the Expanded  & Continuous Multimedia Wave Sound Effects in the 
  99. Background

  101. After the  main introduction screen one of the above wave files will begin
  102. playing  continuously. To stop any sound playing in the background and etc
  103. use the new menu item Shh! which will only temporary turn off the current
  104. sound playing.

  106. Using both mouse buttons Left & Right

  112. Your left button is your action button, this could be a gun, big guns, baby 
  113. bottle, sword / shield sight aimer and etc... The Right button is now used
  114. to bring up your game level control center. This will also reset the game 
  115. automatically when you have finished you this area.

  126. GAMES that were made this year 1994 only need their  *.EXE, *.HLP, BWCC.DLL
  127. and *.WAV files

  129. Installing 1 Game:  USDSTK20.ZIP + USDTK20S.EXE
  130. NOTE: You do not have to install you new game in a C:\WINDOWS\GAMES
  131. But this is the best method for keeping everything tidy on your HD.
  132. Also you must keep all WAVE SOUND files together with your new game
  133. no matter where you decide to call or place your game into.

  135. 1. I guess you already decompress USDSTK20.ZIP
  136. 2. Now you will see 4 files;
  137.  
  138. a. USDTK20S.EXE,  SFX compressed file which contains :main game files etc..
  139. b. VENDOR.EXE, Info for BBS, Sysops, Vendors etc..
  140. c. WIN_A94.TXT, maybe you are reading this file now?
  141. d. WIN_A94.WRI, or maybe this one? Both are the same except for the graphic 
  142.    on top!

  145. 3. Create a new sub directory under Windows called C:\WINDOWS\GAMES
  146.  
  147. a. Copy  USDTK20S.EXE  C:\WINDOWS\GAMES
  148. b. Type USDTK20S out in dos or double click on this file with this directory
  149.     under the any File Manger
  150.  
  151. c. Wait for this file to automatically decompress
  152. d. Remove USDTK20S.EXE from this directory now, because you won't need 
  153.    anymore!
  154.  
  155. e. Should you get an error when decompressing, just make sure you didn't 
  156.    decompress to a diskette only decompress on your HD (Hard Drive Only)
  157.  
  158. 4. Now use Program Manager click on FILE then on NEW
  159.  
  160. a. Choose Program Group;
  161.                         Description: Games
  162.                         Group File:  Games
  163.  
  164. Type in Games in both lines then click on [OK]

  166. 5. Now highlight the new Game Group

  189. 1.  WAOL Zip Manager Should have created the same name of your zipfile at 
  190.     the new directory. In this case it would be called C:\WAOL\USDSTK20

  192. 2. There should be 4 files in this directory;

  194. a. WIN_A94.TXT, installation and updated info about this game 
  195.    >> you might be reading this now?

  197. b. WIN_A94.WRI, installation and updated info about this game 
  198.    >> you could be reading this now?

  200. c. VENDOR.EXE, Info for BBS, Sysops, Vendors etc..

  202. d. USDTK20S.EXE,  SFX compress file including Main files including sound 
  203.    and etc..

  205. 3.Type out USDTK20S in dos or double click on this file in any FILE MANAGER
  206.   for Windows.

  208. a. Wait for this file to decompress automatically
  209. b. Should file not decompress make sure you have enough room on your HD only
  210.    >>do not use a diskette<<.

  212. c. When decompression is finished delete USDTK20S.EXE now , because you 
  213.    don't need it anymore!

  216. 4. Now use Program Manager click on FILE then on NEW
  217.  
  218. a. Choose Program Group;
  219.                         Description: Games
  220.                         Group File:  Games

  222. Type in Games in both lines then click on [OK]
